What happens to people who get saved, but then they hear about the flames of hell? Now we’re talking, because those people would say “wait a minute, are you telling me there’s this pit in the middle of the earth where there are flames and demons tormenting people day and night, for the rest of eternity if they don’t people in Jesus? I don’t want that, I’ll believe in Jesus okay.” The biggest problem is that we’ve got Christianity without Christ. There are many beliefs out there about God and His actions towards us. Some believe that He is a vengeful God who is waiting with punishment for us around every corner and others believe that He is uninterested in our lives or what happens to us. Some even believe that we need to do righteous acts to avoid His wrath or earn His favour.
The bible tells us that God is love and that Jesus has paid the price to reconcile us back to God. Did you know that the bible tells us that we have been saved by Grace through faith (Eph 2), that we are righteous by faith, apart from works (Gal 2) and that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Rom 8)?
Foundations of Grace is a dynamic series that expounds on the beautiful exchange that Jesus completed for us at His cross. Dying to the guilt and condemnation of our sin and, through faith, giving us His eternal righteousness.
In this series, you will discover practical biblical understanding of:
Being righteous by faith
